This policy is a plain-language draft written for the new site. Have ACG's counsel review it before the site goes live.
What We Collect
If you use the Start a Project form, we receive what you type into it: your name, company, email address, phone number, the work items you selected and your notes. We use it only to reply to your request and to prepare a proposal. For security and record keeping, the site also keeps a short log entry for each request: the time, a reference number, whether it was accepted, the project type, the number of work items, your IP address and a one-way scrambled code made from your email address. The log never holds your name, notes or message.
Bot Protection
The Start a Project form can be protected by Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA. When one is enabled, it loads only when you start filling in the form, and it receives technical signals from your browser so it can tell people from automated programs. Their own privacy terms apply to that check.
Site Statistics
The site can use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without following you across other sites. No advertising trackers run on this site.
What Stays on Your Device
Your appearance choices (season, motion and graphics) are stored in your browser's local storage, and the work items you pick in the Start a Project form are kept in session storage until you close the tab. Neither is sent to us. The holiday theme switch also saves one small cookie named acg_theme for one year. It holds only the word on or off, it is set by this site for this site, and it is used to remember your choice and nothing else.
Paying an Invoice
This website does not collect or store card numbers or bank account details. If you choose to pay an invoice online, you pay on the secure page of the payment service you pick (QuickBooks, Stripe, PayPal, Venmo or Apple Pay, whichever ACG has turned on), and that service's own privacy terms apply there. We see the invoice number, the amount and the payment date so we can match the payment to your invoice.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. Email is delivered through Microsoft 365, and the website is delivered through Cloudflare and our hosting provider, which process requests on our behalf.
